I've been using the Clif Shot Bloks for some time now... multiple triathlons, including at least 4 Ironman races. I really like the convenience of the packaging, and also the fact that I can dose them very accurately. We worked with one of the top sports nutritionists in the country, and she pointed out that most people overfeed during races, because they will take, for example, a full GU packet at a time, and then feel depleted, and take another, getting more than they need. With the Bloks, we were able to stay right on her dosing recommendations, which was a huge benefit. We're sold, for sure.

Sweet post! No pun intended. As a bigger runner in competitive racing situations, I have the need to experiment with qty's of gel through the years and found that sometimes more is better. Bigger serving size like the E-gel have come in very handy.

My personal fav right now is the first endurance EFS Liquid Shot. It's hard to forget get as they only have one flavor, so I'm not too offended. But, it's worth trying for the longer stuff. Tastes kind of spicy with a thin thickness. It goes down easy and fast. The big container that is comes in make it easy to pack and can be refilled or reused for other stuff.
