Hi Colin!
I enjoyed meeting you and your brother and friend at Pine to Palm. You picked a very hard race for your first hundred. I think you must be very strong but perhaps your weekly training mileage was insufficient. But it must have been a good learning experience. Myself, I just barely made the (extended) cutoffs. Once I made it past Dutchman’s peak, I should have been good to finish, on paper, but the injury knocked me out. Dissapointing. I have been working with a physical therapist who thinks I have some stride inefficiencies which contributed to the injury, causing me to drop. So hopefully next year will be better.
I just heard about a hundred in your area in April:

It has less elevation gain than P2P and a 36 hour cutoff. That might be a good first hundred for you. Heck, we could walk that one!
